The Illuminati (plural of Latin illuminatus, “enlightened”) is a name given to several groups, both real (historical) and fictitious. Historically the name refers to the Bavarian Illuminati, an Enlightenment-era secret society founded on May 1, 1776. In more modern contexts the name refers to a purported conspiratorial organization which is alleged to mastermind events and control world affairs through governments and corporations to establish a New World Order.
The movement was founded on May 1, 1776, in Ingolstadt (Upper Bavaria) as the Order of the Illuminati, with an initial membership of five, by Jesuit-taught Adam Weishaupt , who was the first lay professor of canon law at the University of Ingolstadt. It was made up of freethinkers as an offshoot of the Enlightenment and seems to have been modeled on the Freemasons. The Illuminati’s members took a vow of secrecy and pledged obedience to their superiors. Members were divided into three main classes, each with several degrees, and many Illuminati chapters drew membership from existing Masonic lodges. Many influential intellectuals and progressive politicians counted themselves as members. The order had branches in most European countries: it reportedly had around 2,000 members over the span of ten years. It is argued that the Bavarian Illuminati survived, possibly to this day. Many of these theories propose that world events are being controlled and manipulated by a secret society calling itself the Illuminati. Conspiracy theorists have claimed that many notable people were or are members of the Illuminati.
In addition to the supposed shadowy and secret organization, several modern fraternal groups claim to be the “heirs” of the Bavarian Illuminati and have openly used the name “Illuminati” in founding their own rites. That said the music scene has over the years been shrouded in rumors and claims of illuminati puppetry and abuse. Artist such as jay z, Tupac, Chris Brown, Kanye West, Nelly, Lady Gaga, Soulja Boy, Puff Daddy just to name a few have all at some point been associated with the illuminati. Most claims are based on signs in videos, lyrical content and tattoos on the artist bodies. In extreme cases the listeners of certain songs claim to have experienced things in their real lives that were beyond normal as a result of continuous or repeated exposure to the songs. The truth of this is yet to be fully proved or documented.
But as said behind every rumor there is drop of truth. In the African music scene as a whole the artist illuminati connection has been missing almost totally, with only a few of our Nigerian brothers being linked to the group (Dbanj signing to Kanye West, good music label). In Kenya the illuminati aspect in the music scene has been totally absent; with the only mention being the questionable rumors that the artist Octopizzo is a member of the group. Which brings us to the Kenyan artist in question referred to as CY4. Though currently unknown on the local music scene due to the fact that he released his first song a month ago (available for down load below), the effects of the songs is what is causing a stir. The artist a 25 year old rapper may appear like your ordinary musician but is far from it. With a mixture of 6 different tattoos on his upper body, each with a specific meaning, his style of music is more westernized in form.
A law graduate and outspoken young lad, his not denying nor admitting to be associated with illuminati when asked is worth noting. The six tattoos, on the right arm, a med evil crucifix and a boa tree, right chest a single wing, left chest tribal with six edges, left arm tribal with six edges and a scorpion will definitely catch your attention the first time you see the artist or his photos. Some of these tattoos are common illuminati signs in classic form. The Kenyan artist, name with held for obvious reasons, has only three songs to his name with his debut single titled feelings being the main focus of concern. The song is a good flow of rhymes, talking about the modern day cheating in relationships and its consequences. Though nothing close to the Ordinary dark music that most illuminate associated songs portray, the effects the song has had to those who have listened to it for a long time are arguably questionable as they range, from claims of feeling better from health related illness, better luck in business deals, lottery winnings to suicidal instigations, extreme worsening of health conditions, miscarriages, abnormal sexual urges and violent behaviors.
The mixed reactions is what leads to the question, is this dark music with effects far beyond the combination of beats and words. The alleged effects on persons who have listened to the song range from teenagers in high school to mature adults working in different fields and professions. The involvement of the PYRAMID at the Center of the number four in the CY4 name is also a factor to consider as it is a sign that has over the years been associated with artist loyal to the illuminati. Further investigations are ongoing about the song and artist but in order to contribute to this, listen to the song and comment on the effect it will have on you or your group over a period of time, photos and more information to follow as we enlighten you more.
